When you finish a round, the result — your score, how many you got right, and which ones — is written to your own browser’s local storage under a key beginning son:daily:. That is what stops a round replaying, what counts your streak, and what draws the little week strip.

Two smaller things sit beside it. A round you are part-way through is saved under son:live: so a reload puts you back where you were rather than handing you a fresh attempt, and one number records how tall your last result was, so the page does not jump when you refresh it.

It never leaves your browser. There is no server to send it to: the site is a set of static files. Which round you are shown is worked out in your own browser from what it finds there — how many you have finished — so your place in the sequence is something only your browser knows.

Clearing your site data erases all of it, and the game will start you again at round one.

The site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts — no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising. Nothing here is tracking you between visits or across sites.

Buttons that offer the mobile app go through a measurement link, which tells us that an install came from this website and which button it came from. It does not carry an identity: the demo is deliberately not a continuation, so nothing about your play here follows you into the app.

Following one of those links hands you to Apple or Google, where their own privacy terms take over.

The site is served from Amazon CloudFront, which records ordinary web-server request logs, as any web host does.
